I started doubting myself cuz peeps said the 3M Super 77 spray was too weak. So when I got home I checked my Z closet to make sure I remembered the right product.

Here is a link to the 3M page with all the spray adhesive info
linkity-split

I have used the 77 on two interiors, including headliners. Both cars had T-tops and the work held up perfectly over the years. The product description states that 77 is a "high tack, high coverage and fast drying adhesive for permanently attaching foils, carpeting, lightweight foams, paper, cardboard, felt and, cloth to painted or unpainted metals, wood and hardboard." I was working with cloth and felt.

As I stated before, I had not used 77 on any leather pieces.

The 80 strength is listed as a "Neoprene" adhesive that will support bonds for most vinyl and leather. It also adheres "stainless steel panels, stiffeners, metal kick plates, and most plastics, laminates and wood products." This sounds to me to be like it might be the spray of choice for doing a leather interior kit.

The 90 strength is designed for "bonding decorative laminate to tables, cabinets, and shelving, kick plates to desks, and plastic sign lettering to wood." It also has "high temperature resistance" that would not be needed inside a car. This strength sounds like a little bit of overkill to me, and I would also be cautious about the "one minute" drying time since you want the option of being able to reposition the material if necessary.

So in summary, I have used the 77 with good results on cloth and fleece. I would probably step up to the 80 for leather. Make your own informed decision :c)
